Background: In late 2013, Amazon Instant Video was growing rapidly and expanding to new markets like Japan. With that expansion, we needed to rethink how we communicate who we are to customers. It turns out, having a logo that includes “Amazon Instant Video” does not scale very well. And so, it was updated to Amazon Video.
I was responsible for developing the visual brand patterns for Amazon Video and establishing the guidelines.
